Office of the Director

The Office of the Director, which includes the IT Director and two Assistant IT Directors, provides leadership in strategic planning, funding strategies, and operational oversight for the IT Department. Key responsibilities involve comprehensive budget planning, accommodating both projected and unforeseen expenses, and securing resources through channels such as LOST, SPLOST, and grants. The Office also manages technology-related Council agenda items, offering support on budget adjustments and ensuring accurate and timely submissions. In project management, the Office manages procurement and spending to maintain project scope and budget while following best practices. The Office of the Director ensures successful delivery from initiation to close-out and applies lessons learned to enhance future initiatives.
