Columbus Consolidated Government invites public comments on the environmental review for proposed renovations to the Urban League of the Chattahoochee Valley’s historic headquarters at 802 1st Avenue.

The project would use $500,000 in federal Community Project Funding to improve the building and support expanded programs and services.

The Household Hazardous Waste and Electronics Collection Day, originally scheduled for October 10th and canceled due to weather, has been rescheduled for Saturday, October 24, 2026, from 8:00 a.m. to noon.
