The mission of the Recorder’s Court of Columbus is to administer justice with fairness, equality, and integrity; to efficiently resolve matters before the court in a timely manner; and to provide competent, courteous, and prompt service in a manner that inspires public trust and confidence.
If you are 16 at the time of your offense, you will need to contact Juvenile Court.
A window located inside the lobby at Recorder's Court also accepts payments during normal hours of operation.

Failure to Appear: Pursuant to Georgia Code 17-6-11, if you have been issued a Court summons and fail to appear to answer the charge(s), a warrant will be issued for your arrest and/or your Georgia driver’s license or driving privileges may be suspended by the Georgia Department of Driver’s Services. Furthermore, you may be held in Contempt of Court, which may require you to pay a Contempt fine.
